ROCK, Wis. — The Rock County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man believed to be responsible for a string of burglaries at commercial storage sheds throughout the Township of Rock.
Authorities had been investigating a string of burglaries over the past month at Mulrooney Moving and Storage, Reliable Property Management, and a Herf’s Fireworks storage container.
Their investigation, conducted in partnership with the Beloit Police Department, led law enforcement to arrest 27-year-old Jared R. Russell on multiple tentative charges.
Russell is facing 24 counts of burglary, 24 counts of damage to property and six counts of theft.
Authorities said Russell will remain in custody at the Rock County Jail until he makes his initial court appearance on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
