MADISON, Wis. Madison police are looking for someone who stole a group of items from a home.
According to the Madison Police Department, it happened around 2:30 a.m. at a house on the 5500 block of Barton Road.
Officers said one of the residents’ purse was stolen along with a group of other items.
Some of those items were later found scattered on the home’s front lawn.
When police were investigating the burglary, they received a call about two attempted burglaries nearby.
People living in two houses on Dorsett Drive reported a man unsuccessfully trying to break into their homes.
