GREEN BAY, Wis. — Fans of the Green Bay Packers were elated to see the team take the field today for the first official day of Training Camp.
Fans weren’t allowed to watch camp in-person last year due to COVID-19 precautions, but plenty of fans made the trip Wednesday to make up for lost time.
While camp is just starting and the offseason was spent wondering if Aaron Rodgers was returning, fans say they’re already very confident about the upcoming season.
“We have a real good chance of going to the Super Bowl, I think,” said Packers fan Jason Paris. “I mean why not, our team is fully loaded and we’re getting Randall (Cobb) back, that’s kinda cool, so I’m ready for the season to start and I can’t wait.”
Much of the talk on the first day of camp was about Rodgers’ return, but many were just excited to see football again in person.
