TOWN OF RANDOLPH, Wis. — One person was injured after a helicopter crash in Columbia County on Saturday morning.
According to a news release, the sheriff’s office responded to a crash in a cornfield in Randolph Township around 10:15 a.m.
The release said the helicopter was crop dusting when it hit power lines and crashed with one person inside.
Officials said the pilot was taken out and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Aviation Administration.
