TOWN OF MADISON, Wis. — Authorities in the Town of Madison say two women are in jail on possible charges of attempted homicide after a stabbing early Tuesday morning.
The Town of Madison police department says officers were called to the area of 2200 Woodview Court at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday for the reported stabbing. Once they arrived, they found a person who had multiple stab wounds.
The victim was sent to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two people, 31-year-old Alizae A. Boatwright and 36-year-old Belinda L. Jackson, were arrested for the stabbing. Authorities say both women knew the victim and they believe the stabbing was targeted.

Police say the incident is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
