MADISON, Wis. — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding someone who forced their way into a retirement home and caused damage in the common area.
Security at the retirement home said they heard glass breaking and found the man inside the building. They say the man broke a wall hanging and ran off after they confronted him.
Police say the man also caused damage to windows and other property inside the building.
If anyone has any information about the incident or recognizes the man in the surveillance images, they’re asked to call the Madison Police Department at 608-255-2345. People who want to remain anonymous can call the Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014 and are eligible to get a $1,000 cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
