FITCHBURG, Wis. — The Fitchburg Police & Fire Commission has picked its two final candidates for police chief.
Alfonso Morales and Vic Siebeneck were named Monday as the two finalists for job. Both candidates are in the background check step of the application process. They’ll each meet with the PFC for a follow-up interview once background checks are finished.
Following the candidates’ final interviews, the PFC will make a hiring recommendation at an upcoming meeting. That’s expected to happen in September.
The news comes as Morales awaits a final vote on his settlement with the City of Milwaukee
An exact date and time for the hiring recommendation meeting is expected at a later date.
