MADISON, Wis. — Madison police responded to a residential burglary on the City’s west side Tuesday morning.
Police were dispatched to Park Crest Court and Jacobs Way at 8:40 a.m. regarding a burglary which happened overnight, according to an incident report.
The homeowner told police the burglar used an open garage door to enter the house. The victim also said a vehicle and several items were missing from the residence.
The victim said it appeared the burglar rummaged through a second vehicle but believed they lost interest in stealing that vehicle because of its manual transmission.
