MADISON, Wis. — Tuesday night’s severe weather has resulted in a significant uptick in power outages across southern Wisconsin.
According to an outage map from Alliant Energy, 4,065 customers are without power as of 6:30 p.m. Roughly 1,200 have lost power in Spring Green alone, with Portage and Baraboo each experiencing hundreds without power.
Madison Gas & Electric has also reported that 2,526 customers are being affected.
