MINERAL POINT, Wis. — The National Weather Service has confirmed two “weak” tornadoes touched down in Mineral Point as storms rolled through Wisconsin on Wednesday.
Both were categorized as EF-0 tornadoes. They occurred primarily in corn fields with max wind speeds of 60 mph.

The NWS in La Crosse also confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Monroe County Wednesday night. That storm destroyed two buildings in its path.
