MADISON, Wis. — Half of all Wisconsinites are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the latest data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
To date, 2,911,596 Wisconsinites have completed their vaccination series, and more than 3 million have gotten at least one shot.

In Dane County, 68.1% of residents are fully vaccinated. Just over 71% of residents are partially vaccinated.
The milestone comes amid a surge in coronavirus cases nationwide that have led to a 600% increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations in Wisconsin since mid-July.
