APPLETON, Wis. — A Silver Alert was issued Sunday night for a missing 86-year-old man from the Appleton area.
According to the state Department of Justice, Paul Charles Hacek was last seen leaving his Grand Chute home Saturday morning and was headed to Kansas City, Missouri, to visit his son.
A news release said he would be driving a red GMC Acadia with Wisconsin license plate 153-XLT.
Officials said Hacek has not yet made it to his son’s house and family is concerned for his welfare.
His daughter, who has access to his online banking, noticed a transaction Sunday morning at a Quick Trip in Belton, Missouri.
Hacek’s last cell phone ping was in South Beloit, Illinois, at 7:19 p.m. Saturday.
Hacek is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He is in a T-shirt, blue jeans and had a navy baseball hat.
