MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is warning people who may be commuting on southbound I-39/90/94 toward Madison there may be delays and backups Tuesday morning.
Two southbound lanes will be closed from 5 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Wisconsin Highway 60 interchange to Lodi and Arlington while crews make pavement repairs.
The closures leave only one lane still open, meaning backups and delays will be likely during the morning commute rush hour. If you need to use that route, the DOT is encouraging you to plan ahead and allow for extra time or find a different route.
The road work and closures are weather-dependent and subject to change.
