MADISON, Wis. — A 17-year-old boy was detained by Madison police early Saturday morning after a stabbing.
According to an incident report, police responded to the 1400 block of Monroe Street around 3 a.m. after a 20-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with multiple stab wounds.
The report said the man’s injuries are non-life threatening at this time.
Police said the suspect ran off from the scene when officers arrived, but he was later stopped and detained.
The investigation is ongoing.
