MADISON, Wis. — Atwood Avenue has been shut down while multiple fire crews are at the scene of a fire.
Dane County dispatch says the call for a fire at the Madison-Kipp Corporation building on Atwood Avenue came just after 9 p.m. Officials with the Madison Fire Department say they were called for an alarm that was triggered by the sprinkler system inside the building.
When fire crews got on scene, they could see smoke from the building.
Dane County dispatch says the fire is believed to be under control at this time, although Atwood Avenue remains closed while crews investigate.
No injuries have been reported.
