VERONA, Wis. – It’s back-to-school for many students across the state this week and that includes those at Verona Area School District.
Wednesday, September 1st will be the first day that 9th grade students are back in the building along with anybody who is new to the district in 10th-12th grades. The rest of VASD students will return on Thursday, September 2nd.
Superintedent Dr. Tremayne Clardy is excited to see the kids back in the building for a new school year. Dr. Clardy says this year’s theme will encompass a time for healing after an unprecedented time during the pandemic.
VASD is requiring all students and staff, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks indoors and on buses. Masks are recommended during outdoor activities when spaces are crowded.
