NEW BERLIN, Wis. — One lucky person could be getting a boost to their bank account after a winning Mega Millions Megaplier ticket was sold in New Berlin on Tuesday.
The ticket, worth $3 million, is the largest Wisconsin Lottery prize this year, and is one of four prizes of $1 million or more sold or claimed in August.
The winning numbers for the ticket are 8, 14, 31, 58, 68. The Wisconsin Lottery says the odds of getting a perfect five-for-five match in the Mega Millions game are 1 to 12.6 million.
Quick Pick BP Food/Nalia Inc. will also receive $60,000 for selling the winning ticket as part of the Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive.
Winning tickets must be signed, and tickets worth over $200,000 must be claimed in-person at the Madison Lottery Office at 2135 Rimrock Rd. in Madison.
