MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within 20 minutes of each other Saturday into Sunday.
The first took place at a Kwik Trip on Maple Grove Dr. According to a report, a Black man dressed in all black entered the store around 11:54 p.m. carrying a long-barreled black revolver and demanded money. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.
The second happened at 12:11 a.m. at a Walgreens on Mineral Point Rd. The suspect entered the store also carrying a long-barreled black revolver and demanding money. The description of the suspect, in this case, is similar to the Kwik Trip incident, listing the suspect as a Black male dressed in all black. The suspect at the Kwik Trip also left with an undetermined amount of money.
The investigation is ongoing.
