MADISON, Wis. — Madison police found multiple shell casings when responding to a shots fired call near Lake Monona.
Authorities said they were dispatched to the area near Lake Point Drive and Hoboken Road after getting multiple reports of shots fired around 10:50 p.m.
When officers canvased the scene, they found several shell casings in the street.
According to an incident report, a red Chevrolet Malibu was seen leaving the area, but police said they don’t know if the vehicle is related to the shooting.
