MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man wanted for killing two people and shooting several others in a park more than 15 years ago has been added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted fugitives list.
The FBI announced Wednesday that Octaviano Juarez-Corro has been added to the list, making him the 525th fugitive to be added since the list was created in 1950.
Authorities said on May 29, 2006, Juarez-Corro allegedly shot and killed two people and wounded three others at a Memorial Day weekend picnic while hundreds of people, including families and children, were gathered in the park.
According to a news release, Juarez-Corro attended the picnic demanding his estranged wife let him see his daughter. When his wife said he wasn’t allowed to, Juarez-Corro allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at his wife and family.
Juarez-Corro left the park after the shooting and has been on the run since, according to a release. Authorities said during a press conference they believe he may be in Mexico.
Anyone who provides the FBI with information that leads to the Juarez-Corro’s arrest can claim a reward of up to $100,000.
Those with information about his location should contact the nearest FBI office or local law enforcement agency. Anyone calling from outside the U.S. should contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. People can also call 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324) 24 hours a day.
