MIDDLETON, Wis. — Police are searching for suspects who they say stole a vehicle and purse from a Middleton home on Thursday.
Deputies responded to reports of a burglary in the 7600 block of Westman Way Road around 3:17 a.m.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says the suspects used a garage door opener in an unlocked vehicle to gain access to the home.
The suspects then made off with the homeowner’s purse and credit cards, as well as a vehicle. The residents were at home and asleep at the time of the incident.
