A Jo Daviess County man was injured in a rollover crash near Galena Wednesday. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, 21 year old Zachary Krieg of East Dubuque was taken by ambulance to Midwest Medical Center in Galena for treatment. The crash happened shortly before 5am on U.S. Highway 20 approximately a quarter-mile west of Highway 84 North. A report says that Krieg was driving east when his vehicle sideswiped a concrete barrier. Krieg overcorrected, and the vehicle left the roadway, rolled over multiple times and came to a rest on its wheels. Krieg was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
