MADISON, Wis. — Police said a man attempted to bribe a juvenile walking alone into a car by offering drugs and alcohol before pulling a gun when they refused Thursday night.
The incident happened on Cypress Way just before 10 p.m.
According to a release, the victim was walking when a white sedan with dark tinted windows and a shiny rim pulled up next to him.
The victim was told to get into the car, and said he was enticed by the subject with drugs and alcohol.
The victim told officers that when he refused, the man pulled a gun on him.
The juvenile got away when his family’s car pulled up to pick him up. Police did not specify the age of the victim.
The suspect is described a skinny man between 50-60 years old, with white short hair that’s balding. He was wearing all black clothing.
