MADISON, Wis. — A man suffered serious injuries Thursday morning in a stabbing on Madison’s near east side.
Police said they first responded to the 1200 block of East Mifflin Street around 8:45 a.m. and found the man injured.
The victim was taken to a local hospital but is expected to survive.
Authorities said they’ve detained a person of interest on a previous warrant. The victim and person of interest know each other, according to department officials.
