DRA Provides $250,000 Grant To Dyersville For MLB Events

The Dubuque Racing Association has presented a $250,000 grant to to Dyersville Events Incorporated. The grant will help support festivities related to the upcoming Major League Baseball game at the Field of Dreams site. The grant will go toward Beyond the Game events, which will take place throughout Dyersville during the week of August 8th. The events are planned around the August 11th Major League game between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. A report says the grant also will support the If You Build It exhibit, which features information related to the 1989 “Field of Dreams” movie and the site. The DRA is the nonprofit license holder for Dubuque’s casinos.
