BELOIT, Wis. — A Beloit man accused of sexually exploiting a minor was indicted by a federal grand jury last month.
Everett Wescott, 32, is charged with transporting a minor across state lines and producing child pornography. Wescott allegedly brought a minor from Illinois to Wisconsin in March of last year and used the minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct in order to film the conduct.
Wescott is also accused of using an iPhone to produce child pornography between January 2020 and September of last year. The indictment was unsealed after Wescott was arrested in Beloit Friday by FBI agents and Beloit police.
If convicted, Wescott could face up to life in prison for the charge of transporting a minor across state lines, and up to 30 years in prison for producing child pornography.
