MADISON, Wis. — Thursday is your last chance to visit the Madison Night Market this year.
The market will wrap up its regular season on State Street, rain or shine, which more than 90 vendors and a full evening of performances. The market is free to attend.
Over 50 downtown businesses will also take part in the market by staying open later and offering special events and sales.
Thursday’s event will feature a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for Madison’s first-ever Rainbow Street Crossing, which honors and celebrates the city’s LGBTQIA+ community. The ceremony starts at 4 p.m. at the top of State Street.
The Logan Brothers of Little Priest will be at the top of State Street throughout the evening, playing songs and drumming to honor the Dejope Ho-Chunk people.
There will be two performances at Lisa Link Peace Park at 452 State Street. Mark “Shah” Evans and producer/DJ Pain 1 will perform “Hip Hop History” from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Edi Rey y su Salsera will perform Latin music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
