MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are searching for two men who they said robbed a motel on the city’s south side early Monday morning.
Officers were sent to a motel just off the Beltline near Fish Hatchery Road for a reported armed robbery.
Police said the men entered the motel wearing masks and implied to the front desk attendant that they had a gun. No firearm was actually seen during the incident.
The men allegedly demanded the attendant give them money. They allegedly took all of the money from the cash register and left the motel after threatening the attendant.
