Warren, Illinois Man Suffers Medical Emergency and Crashes

A Jo Daviess County man avoided serious injuries following a one-vehicle crash Saturday night in South Wayne. South Wayne Fire and First Response and Green County EMS responded to Highway 11 around 9:40pm. 30 year old Cody Pendleton of Warren, Illinois was traveling eastbound on Highway 11 when he experienced a medical emergency causing him to go off the road and strike a tree. According to a report from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department, Pendleton had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Pendleton was cited for No Insurance and his vehicle was towed from the scene with severe damage.
