MADISON, Wis. — The Mallards may have wrapped up their season last month, but there was still plenty of food and fun to be had at Warner Park Saturday.
The Mallards hosted the first ever Northside Fest at the Duck Pond, featuring food trucks, vendors, live music and a movie. The goal was to celebrate everything the neighborhood has to offer.
“It’s just a cool homage and ode to the north side,” Mallards general manager Samantha Rubin said. “It’s becoming kind of a cool place to be in Madison and we’re excited to be part of it.”
The event was free, and organizers hope to turn it into an annual event.
Morgan Murphy Media, the parent company of News 3 Now, was one of the sponsors of the event. You can find out more about the Northside Festival on the Mallards’ website.
