BEAVER DAM, Wis. — The residents of a Beaver Dam home were displaced Friday after a fire.
Crews were called to the 500 block of South Center Street just after 7 p.m. Smoke could be seen coming from the front of the home and flames were starting to come out of a rear window.
The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the kitchen, but crews stayed on scene for nearly two hours to ventilate the home.
The residents, who are being assisted by St. Vincent de Paul and the Red Cross, were displaced due to smoke and water damage. Nobody was injured during the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
