UPDATE: On Monday afternoon, district officials said that there will be in-person classes at Prairie View Elementary School on Tuesday.
Officials said that part of the building are expected to be safe and usable by the time school starts. However, the district said it would stay in contact with families throughout the rest of the day regarding plans for classes at Prairie View and Netherwood Knoll Elementary.
OREGON, Wis. — Prairie View Elementary School is closed Monday due to a water main break.
Oregon School District officials announced the closure in a Facebook post, saying the building was flooded. Classes are still in session at all other schools in the district.
Officials said they would give an update regarding tomorrow’s classes at Prairie View later in the day on Monday.
