MADISON, Wis. — A teen charged in a shooting that injured two others on Madison’s north side in June was bound over for trial Thursday.
Jamari Mondie, 19, faces two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of armed robbery as a party to a crime, according to online court records.
Mondie and his co-defendant — Avion Vaccaro — were arrested in late August for their alleged role in the shooting.

Police said two teens were injured in the shooting; both 16 and 18-year-old victims were sitting inside of a parked car outside of a McDonald’s on Dryden Drive when Mondie and Vacarro allegedly shot at the vehicle.
Both victims survived their injuries in large part to responding officers’ quick arrival, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said after the shooting.
Mondie’s arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 7. Vaccaro is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 21 for a status conference.
