MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man Wednesday who they said entered multiple apartments and sexually assaulted a person Monday.
Police said the 24-year-old suspect was taken into custody just after 1:30 p.m. without incident. He faces charges of third-degree sexual assault and burglary.

Police said multiple people reported that the man entered their unlocked apartments in the 400 block of West Gorham Street. One person reported being sexually assaulted.
