SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Sun Prairie teacher arrested late last week after allegedly recording students in a school bathroom now faces three federal charges in the case.
A federal indictment filed Wednesday charges Matthew Quaglieri, 34, of Sun Prairie, with three counts of child pornography production. According to the indictment, Quaglieri used an iPad on three separate occasions to produce videos of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
In announcing Quaglieri’s arrest Friday night, the Sun Prairie Police Department said he recorded students in the bathroom of Prairie View Middle School where he taught. The Sun Prairie Area School District said Quaglieri has been suspended amid the investigation.
The indictment alleges two minors were victims in the case; police are investigating whether there were any other victims. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sun Prairie Police Department at 608-837-7336 or 608-837-6300.
