LAKE MILLS, Wis. — Lake Mills police renewed a call for help with identifying a man who robbed a Culver’s in late September and has since targeted two of the chain restaurants in other cities.
Authorities said they’re searching for a man traveling in a red or maroon four-door late-model Jeep; police do not know the license plate number. During a robbery on Sept. 26, the man reportedly pulled through the drive-thru, passed a note to staff demanding money, and threatened to use a gun.
He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, though no gun was actually seen during the incident, according to police.
Last week, Janesville police said a man matching the same description tried robbing a Culver’s on the city’s west side using a similar method, though he was unsuccessful in that attempt.

It’s unclear which other city the suspect has tried robbing a Culver’s in.
Lake Mills police said the man is considered armed and dangerous. The public should not try to contact, approach, or apprehend him.
