JANESVILLE, Wis. — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery of an Amazon delivery truck in Janesville, and “arrangements have been made” to bring the third suspect into custody, police said Friday night.
Authorities said the robbery happened shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Green Forest Run Street on Janesville’s northeast side.
According to an incident report, three males approached the van and demanded money from the driver. Police said the driver didn’t have any money, so the suspects took an undisclosed number of packages from the van before running off.
The driver was not injured during the robbery.
Friday night, police said they arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, both Janesville residents, for armed robbery. Both are being held at the Rock County Youth Services Center.
The third suspect is not yet in custody, but police said they have made arrangements to arrest them.
