MADISON, Wis. — An arrest warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old Madison man in the wake of a deadly shooting on the city’s north side earlier this year.
The Madison Police Department said Wednesday it is searching for Charvis Blue in connection to the July 22 shooting that left 18-year-old Laron Bynum dead. Bynum was found shot inside a stolen vehicle in the area of Vahlen Street and North Sherman Avenue; he died at the scene.
Online court records show the arrest warrant for Blue for a felony charge of first-degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime was filed last week.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 608-255-2345 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
Two other people — 27-year-old Aquille Lowe and 22-year-old Jakrya Peeples — have been arrested in the case.
