SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — With less than two weeks before the Nov. 8 election, incumbent Democratic Gov. Tony Evers on Thursday kicked off a ten-day bus tour of Wisconsin.
Evers made multiple stops in southern Wisconsin Thursday as part of the “Do the Right Thing” bus tour. The governor touted his record and the issues he believes are at stake this fall.
“When we talk about fixing roads and this bus out here, we do this bus thing. We did it in 2018 we’re doing it again, is a school bus, it’s a regular school bus, and guess what? The roads are smoother this year,” he said.
The bus tour will make stops in Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, Manitowoc and Cedarburg on Friday.
Incumbent Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is also traversing the state in a bus tour; he will stop in Franklin, Germantown, Beaver Dam and Fond du Lac on Friday.
