ROCK COUNTY, Wis.– Three people are dead following a crash on State Highway 11.
The crash happened at the intersection of West State Highway 11 and North County Highway H in Center Township around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Rock County Sheriff’s officials said a Nissan Maxima traveling southbound on County Highway H failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Ford Escape that was driving westbound on West State Highway 11.
The drivers of both vehicles and one passenger from the Nissan Maxima were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released their names at this time and may do so at a later date.
Two passengers from the Nissan Maxima and one passenger from the Ford Escape were transported to a hospital for their injuries.
All traffic from the crash has been cleared and the roads are open as of Sunday morning.
