MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin state park admission stickers and trail passes for the 2023 season go on sale Friday both online and in-person at state facilities.
Stickers and passes for the 2023 season grant admission to Wisconsin’s parks, forests, recreation areas and trails from the day they’re purchased through Dec. 31, 2023.
“We’re delighted to give visitors a boost to stretch out and enjoy a day of fresh air and fun by opening sales of 2023 admission stickers and trail passes the day after Thanksgiving,” DNR Parks Director Steve Schmelzer said. “From northern waterfalls to the Lake Michigan shoreline and southern forests to the Dalles of the St. Croix River, there’s no shortage of fun in Wisconsin’s four corners.”
State park admission stickers cost $28 for Wisconsin residents and $38 for non-residents. If a single household has more than one vehicle registered, additional stickers are available for $15.50 for residents and $20.50 for non-residents. Stickers for senior citizens are available for $13.
Annual trail passes are $25 for both residents and non-residents. Anyone age 16 or older who wants to bike, skate, horseback ride, cross-country ski or off-highway motorcycling on state trails will need a trail pass; passes aren’t required for walking or hiking.
