Dubuque to begin winter yard waste, food scrap collection schedule

City of Dubuque officials will begin their winter collection schedule for yard waste and food scraps this week. Beginning today and through March 31st, residents who want yard waste or food scraps collected can schedule an appointment for those items to be picked up on residents’ normal collection day with other materials left curbside. Appointments must be scheduled no later than 3 p.m. on the business day prior to the pickup. To schedule a pickup, residents can visit cityofdubuque.org/yardwaste or call the city Public Works Department at 563-589-4250.
