Avoiding Scams on Giving Tuesday

The holidays are often marked with generosity and charitable giving. Today’s Giving Tuesday is an occasion that encourages people to give to those in need. This Giving Tuesday, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions are reminding people to think carefully before donating to make sure the organizations are legitimate.
