MONROE, Wis. — A Green County court entered not guilty pleas Tuesday on behalf of a Fitchburg man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two children.
Terry Gould, 47, faces 11 charges in Green County and nine more in Dodge County — all but one of which are felonies — ranging from exposing his genitals to a child to repeated sexual assault of the same child.
According to a criminal complaint, the two victims described to investigators a repeated pattern of sexual assault when they lived in Albany and after they moved to the Waterloo area. One said the abuse happened “enough times to where I don’t remember a lot of specifics because it just happened. It was almost daily life I guess, to where it didn’t stick out. I guess that’s why I have a hard time remembering it. Because it was just another day.”
In court late Tuesday morning, Gould sat mute as the pleas were entered on his behalf. Not guilty pleas were also entered in the Dodge County case during an arraignment hearing in May.
Online court records show a jury trial is scheduled in the Dodge County case beginning Feb. 27; a scheduling conference is set for Feb. 9 in the Green County case.
