Woman Arrested After Assaulting Nurse

Dubuque police arrested 61 year old Rene Atkins Sunday night on a charge of violation of a no-contact order, as well as warrants charging assault on persons in certain occupations and two counts of failure to appear in court. A report states that Atkins assaulted a nurse at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center on October 27th.
