MADISON, Wis. — Large-scale model trains have taken over Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
The Holiday Express Flower and Model Train Show returned this month and will be open throughout December, except on Christmas Day. The trains are provided the Wisconsin Garden Railway Society.
“The trains that are running today were my husband’s trains. He passed away five years ago so we found a family that loved trains,” Elaine Jellings said. “Every time I hear the whistle I think of my husband and all of the fun we had here.”
Admission to see the trains is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages six and older. Children younger than five, as well as Olbrich Garden Members, get in for free.
