PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Madison College are expanding their partnership to give Madison College students access to additional engineering education offerings.
Officials from both schools took part in a signing ceremony Monday afternoon to celebrate the updated agreement, which will make UW-Platteville’s bachelor of science in industrial and systems engineering available to Madison College students. The previous agreement was signed in 2019.

“The pathway from the associate in science to a bachelor in science in industrial systems engineering will foster new relationships, and most importantly expand access and opportunities for all of our students,” UW-Platteville Chancellor Tammy Evetovich said.
The expanded partnership will also help improve the student experience while removing barriers to education and reducing costs, she added.

Monday’s news comes just over two months after the two schools signed transfer agreements to help students transfer credits for programs in business management, construction management and criminal justice.
