MADISON, Wis. — One of the men charged in a fatal shooting at a gas station on Madison’s west side that occurred last year pleaded guilty Tuesday, online court records show.
Avieon Little, 25, is charged with first-degree reckless homicide as a party to a crime. The other man accused in the case, 27-year-old Christopher Somersett, Jr., is charged with first-degree intentional homicide.

Little pleaded guilty during a hearing on Tuesday. The court accepted his plea an his bail was revoked. His trial was scheduled to begin next week.
Little and Sommersett, Jr. are charged in connection with a July 5, 2021 shooting that left 22-year-old Keshaun Q. Davis-Williams. dead. Police said Davis-Williams was shot while waiting in his car at a gas station in the 4500 block of Verona Road. He was pronounced dead at a hospital roughly 50 minutes after the shooting.
Sommersett’s trial is set to begin next week. Jury selection is scheduled for Dec. 12.
