MADISON, Wis. – Both the Madcity Cocktails and Rock County Passports are officially out and ready to purchase for 2023.
Since 2009, the Madcity Cocktails Passport has been helping local bars, breweries and restaurants. This year, more than 140 Dane County businesses are taking part.
The Rock County Passports book is newer to the area, with the hopes of bringing more business to locals coming out of the pandemic.
“If you’re not increasing your clientele, you’re losing clientele,” said organizer Greg Melzer. “What this does is gets people out to try a new spot. You can’t have a repeat customer unless they come in for the first time. So that’s what we’re trying to do, is make it more fun.”
The Madcity Passports are $25 a piece and Rock County’s are $20. Inside, they feature more than $2,500 worth in savings on food and drink deals at local establishments. You can plan to visit them all or as many as you can during the course of the year.
