LA CROSSE (WKBT) – A La Crosse salon owner is using her unique talent to spread some holiday cheer.
April Benson spent a morning at the Bethany Saint Joseph Care Center, painting herself to look like Dr. Seuss’ classic Christmas character, the Grinch.
Benson started doing Grinch makeovers during the 2020 lockdown to help make people smile again.
“Ever since 2020, I feel like everybody is just in a foul mood,” said Benson. “I was hoping to bring some [joy] into people’s lives, including my own.”
April recently appeared on the TV show “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in New York, where she transformed into Davy Jones from the Disney movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
